Pharmaciae Sacrum

On March 5th from 13:00 - 17:00, this year’s Afternoon Symposium will take place. During this symposium, multiple speakers will give a small lecture about “cancer treatments”. There will be five speakers present, who will talk about their research or profession. The speakers are: 

- Daan Brandenbarg, who will tell us about the long-term impact of cancer on the surviving patients.
- Frank Jansman, the chairman of the day, who will take about experimental chemotherapy 
- Janine Nuver, who will talk about breast cancer treatment.
- Lara Bazzarulo, who will talk about radiotherapy, proton therapy and the side effects of cancer on the brain. 
- Wim Tissing, who will tell us something about leukemia and treating kids with cancer.

 During this Symposium lunch will be provided for a maximum of €3,-. The symposium will be held at the Keuningzaal.
There are 110 spots available. For the students that follow PAH or ProPharm 1 or 2, 50% of the spots will be reserved, if the other 50% is not filled these spots can also be divided. If more people sign up, a draw will be held on February 26.
